felt fairies...

I'm on the waitlist for these woodland felt fairy kits at purl soho. {they sold out the first day!  probably cause they're so darn cute.}  I can't wait to make them for L!!

ballet slippers...

L loves these simple, silver ballet slippers {and I love them cause they're easy to put on and cheap to replace} but very soon after we got them our beloved beagle, Shiloh nibbled off the little bow... I didn't really blame her, the bow was kinda ugly and as I said they were cheap.  but L still wanted to wear them and they had these not-so-cute holes left behind from where the bow used to be.  {see the shoe on the right...}

so this morning I got out the sewing box and some sparkly gold ricrac that had previously been used as gift wrap from L's auntie M.  I stitched the the ricrac around top and voila...

even cuter that before! 

it's gonna be a party...

we're getting ready for a Spring Party over at Melange and for a little festive decor, we're whipping up these easy-peasy zig zag streamers from Oh Happy Day!  I love that they're so simple and fast to make...

and love that little settee too.

felt easter egg hunt baskets at the Purl Bee...  I love these.  ric rac, rainbows...  all it needs is a happy toddler in a cotton sundress.

fabric coil basket from on Moda Bake Shop by V and Co.  using super cute moda home fabric...  we carry some Moda Home pieces at Melange, they have lovely vintage-inspired prints and colors.

cute printable from ISLY...  I think these would be adorable for wrapping up a hostess gift or party favors.

the homemade peeps won me over on this twig & thistle basket... I also love the idea of making a stuffed animal.  hmmm... good thing Easter is still a month away!

don't kiss me now, I'm organizing...

I'm in the midst of a deep spring clean in the house...  living in a small space requires you to constantly organize {which is good for me}. today I straightened up my 40" by 25" workspace {we live small, I tell you}  my jewelry can get chaotic and I daydream of the studio space I will have one day, it will be filled with natural light and have lots of sparklers around to look at, not to mention a MUCH bigger work-table... but I'm thinking something like these repurposed printer drawers would be perfect to hang on the walls for freshly made jewels...
